This beautiful large globe with lamp is a great example of cool items made in the time of the atomic space age. On the map Korea is still not divided in North and South, therefor we assume it is from the beginning of the 1950’s (or earlier).
It is branded “SVH – Globe – Staatkundig”. The maps on the globe are in Dutch.
The finish on the globe has faded for the most part, but overall in a very good condition. Some very small marks/stains on the map (see pictures)

The globe is made of glass, a metal half ring and has a brown wooden stand.
